Chers parents,
Welcome back from the Thanksgiving long weekend. We trust that everyone had a wonderful break. The month of October is flying by! Thank
you to the parents who joined us at Pooh Corner last week. We had a beautiful
day for a walk and a great time with the staff from the Frances Morrison
Library. Thanks to everyone for participating in our colour days as well. Today we were truly bleu because we forgot to take a class photo and we had such great participation. We managed to get some individual photos as the children were dismissed. Please note the colour days below. The students have been so good at doing nice things for each other that our
bucket is full of pompoms already. We had a great day today as well as we worked on circle booklets with Mme Wettlaufer and favourite books for sharing times. To celebrate our bucket full we are having a games period on
Thursday October 15th. The students can bring their favourite board games or card games to
class that day if they want. Please ensure the games are well labeled. After Thursday, we will be encouraging the
students to practice more speaking in French and adding pom poms to the bucket for that as well. Some of the students have already
started, but it will be a regular focus in the next few months.

Mme Wettlaufer is also full-time teaching in our classroom as well. You are always welcome to contact either one of us with any questions or concerns.
