Chers parents,
We are having a great start to the school
year! The children are learning and
adjusting to school routines. We have
begun our focus on our theme: C’est MOI!
We have also been focused on learning the alphabet in French. In the class we are working on good listening
skills and helping hands. We have read: On Partage Tout! (We Share Everything), Have You Filled a Bucket Today? and How Full is Your Bucket? Books about treating others with
kindness. We are looking forward to all
the fun we will have learning together.
A fun part of École Victoria School is its
proximity to wonderful events and places to visit. We will take a short walk to Oskayak High
School for a POW WOW Friday, September 26th. It begins at 10am so we leave the classroom
to walk there around 9:50am. If you
would like to join us we will need two parent volunteers. We will not stay for the entire program but
we would like to take part in this opportunity.
On Monday September 29th we will
be walking to Frances Morrison Library (Pooh Corner) for an interactive program
called Be Sensible. We will be
leaving shortly after we take attendance.
Please join us if you can.
Thank you for all your support and for the
great start to our 2014-15 school year
Merci pour votre soutien!
Mme Jennifer Wallace
